The stylish and very exclusive Fundu Lagoon is located on Pemba, just a short fly away from Zanzibar. There are 16 makuti thatched tented bungalows and suites on hardwood, stilted decks, all very spacious and tentatively furnitured, ensuite bathrooms and all with stunning views over the Indian Ocean.

The standard rooms have twin or double beds, mosquito nets, fans, inside and outside sitting areas. The suites have furthermore a private plunge pool and a sundeck. And the superior suites have a large, private pool, private terraces and recreation areas, walk-in showers, and a lounge.

Furthermore there are 3 bars, an excellent restaurant serving outstanding international dishes, a new, beautiful infinity pool and a spa with aroma therapy massage treatment. The peaceful Yoga platform overlooks the ocean. There is a satellite TV room, a games balcony and a boutique.

The lodge runs its own PADI 5 star diving center, fully equipped. Pemba is one of the top dive sites in the world! The center offers all PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving to Dive Master.

Snorkelling trips to Misali Island, sunset cruises on a local dhow, canoe trips to mangrove bays, walks in the beautiful landscapes, can all be arranged by the lodge.

To get to the lodge you need to fly to Pemba (around 20 minutes from Zanzibar), then transfer by car (around 30 minutes), until the speedboat brings you to the lodge.
