The Mafia Island Lodge stands amidst tall palms on a sandy beach
in Chole Bay, in the heart of the marine park near Utende village, South coast of Mafia.

Accommodation

40 comfortable rooms are set among the coconut palms. The rooms have their own veranda overlooking the bay. They are self-contained with air conditioning. Among the 40 rooms there are 2 suites with a large
living room. Hot and cold water is available 24 hours a day.

Dining, Bar and Lounge

An airy dining room, cozy bar and large terrace facing the ocean
create a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The cuisine
continental with an emphasis on seafood.
Snacks, sandwiches and bitings are also available.
A selection of alcoholic beverages, wines, beers, juices and
sodas are available at the bar.

Excursion and activities

Exciting activities in the marine park are diving, snorkelling and sailing. The Dive Center provides PADI and NAUI Federations' certifications.
Mafia Island Lodge organises boat excursions and picnics to isolated islets almost every day, according to the tide, as well as road safaris and trekking. Other activities at the lodge include beach volley and pool table.
