The Ras Michamvi Beach Resort is a newly opened beach hotel on Zanzibar, and is located on the northern end of the southern East Coast, close to Bwejuu. It is a 1 hrs drive from Stonetown and the airport, on a tarmac road.

The hotel has 15 rooms (Sept 07), all with sea view terraces, and set up on the cliffs, overlooking the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. 3 of those rooms are built for disabled guest, with all features.

All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with hot and cold water, Swahili four poster beds with mosquito nets, a table, chair, minibar with soft drinks, and a large terrace with sea view.

The sea view restaurant on the cliff offers european and local swahili dishes, and there soon will be a beach bar.

Due to its isolated location there are lots of lonely beaches nearby, and one can wander for kilometers on the white sandy beaches.
