We recommend visiting Mikandani for at least three nights, most of our guests wish they could stay longer, to really soak up the atmosphere of this stunning colonial building and to make the most of all activities offered in the area including the Mnazi Bay - Ruvuma Estuary Marine Park. Diving can be arranged through a PADI certified agency based in the marine park.

Meals at the Old Boma are also a treat with all the vegetables on the international menu coming from the organic farm which is part of the community project. Guests can visit the farm and find out about the people postively affected by the community project.
