Swahili Coast

Be it the hustle and bustle of Dar-es-Salaaam, Tanzania’s largest city, or the quieter beach hideaways on the city outskirts at Ras Kutani and Lazy Lagoon, the area has something for everyone.

Heading south along the Tanzanian coastline takes you to the three Kilwas; combining beautiful beaches and the Kilwa Kisiwani UNESCO World heritage site, now a small fishing village which was once the commercial hub and gateway of the Islamic community in sub-Saharan Africa.

Heading further south is the picturesque towns of Mikandani with access to the recently gazetted Mnazi-Bay Ruvuma Marine Park; a new paradise for divers.
