The new, stunning Sunshine Hotel in Matemwe, North East Coast of Zanzibar adds to the range of middleclass hotels on Zanzibar. Consisting of 16 rooms, this hotel offers a private atmosphere, very good food and a first class beach!

The hotel has different categories, all having at least a distinct sea view. The best ones are the honeymoon Suite and the Blue Breeze Suite, with stunning views over the ocean, the Honeymoon Suite has an additional private garden with lounge area.

All rooms have ensuite bathroom, double or twin bed with a third bed option, ceiling fans, safety deposit box and a spacious verandah or balcony (except of the garden rooms). To come in line with the ecofriendly way the hotel is build, it has no airconditioning, but airy rooms with sea breeze

In every room you will find a comfortable double/twin bed with large mosquito net, private bathroom with shower and toilet, effective ceiling fan, safe deposit box, stone bench covered with cushions, wooden wardrobe, cool ambient lights, spacious balcony or veranda (except garden rooms).

The restaurant serves a wide variety of delicious seafood and continental dishes, with an emphasis on Spices, for which Zanzibar is famous for. The bar offers all kind of alcoholics and non-alcoholic drinks.
